Ever since I can remember, I have been in love with textiles, patterns, and creating anything with fabrics. There’s just something about the textures, the unlimited possibilities and the way that all things textile make us feel. So far, there’s nothing like it. When I was a little girl, I would watch my mother sew. First I would analyze the fabrics and then I would ask how everything was put together. I still do this. (And if there’s acrylic in a sweater, I won’t purchase it.)
My mother and Betty have been friends since I can remember. I used to tag along to their coffee dates and dream. And now that I’ve grown up, I have my own relationship with Betty. She is one of the most incredibly strong, creative, resourceful, people I’ve ever met. She is forever serving her family, friends, and clients. I have learned a great deal from her over the years and now I have the privilege of working with her. Lucky me!
In my full time life, I am a Marketing Director for a line of whole food nutritional products where I educate individuals and families about the relationship between nutrition and disease and how good nutrition leads to prevention. I enjoy the outdoors, all things crafty, reading, traveling, cooking, and creating a life with my husband Peter.
